pop-up windows says charging not possible because liquid was detected in the Lightning connector....

but there's no liquid as far as I can tell. (not on the cable, connector, Lightning port or anywhere else... my hands were also completely dry) so what do I do?

Try to clean the contacts on the cable with isopropyl and clean out the port (carefully ) with a toothpick.

I took out a never-used Lightning cable from another iPhone box. Plugged it in and there was no issues. So I guess I should just toss the other cable that was causing it to give the false liquid message?

Thanks!
