pop ups all of a sudden on safari

Hey starting this morning, i have been getting popups ever since i clicked on mac rumors. however i don't think i got it from mac rumors. The only websites I've been on were netflix and youtube. Any ideas on what to do?

You probably got infected by adware.

Use AdwareMedic and get an adblocker.

i use clamXav i had that apperantly and it worked.
