Popcap Games & "MacProtectMonitor" ?

So im procrastinating playing Bejewelled, when the game loads it also loads "MacProtectMonitor" in the background, further inspection in Activity Monitor gives you this:

Does anybody know what this is and what it does? Is it dodgy?
