Have Popcorn 3 and Mac OSX 10.5.8
Trying to back up copies of DVDs from drive on to blank DVD media. Used Popcorn the last year and a half. All of a sudden,
"Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR
Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03"
My guess, after scouring web and trying different things (such as changing write speed), is that TDK isn't jibing with Popcorn--others have had same complaints. CDs burn ok, so it's not drive. Popcorn also compresses without a problem, but as it's prepping to write, that above message occurs.
(I should also mention four out of fifteen discs have burned fine, and play fine.)
OK. So. Problem is I have 150 TDK DVD-Rs.
Is there 1) a solution to the above? and/or 2) a (FREE) alternative to Popcorn I might be able to use with these TDKs?
Pulling hair out of head, as drive is full and I need that space desperately.
Hopefully this makes sense as I explain it. Any help, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
