Popcorn vs Toast

Hey there every one i want to make my avi videos to dvd. I here Toast is the easiest way to do this and just found out about Popcorn as well. Is there a difference between them as far as making dvd goes, like is one faster than the other in the converting process.

i like toast a lot

never used popcorn and dont see why i would need to

Toast has more features. I have Toast 8 and count it as one of my essential applications now.

I've only used the programs sparingly but I used Toast to put media on a DVD and Popcorn to put media on my iPod.

Not sure if one of these apps could do both or not, I don't personally own either.
