I purchased a PowerMac G5 back in May, it's an older Dual 2 GHz model (8 GB Ram max). Anyway, this was first notcied a few weeks after having it. Sometimes for a little while "pops" can be heard coming through the sound output, and they last for about 10 minutes. It chooses to appear randomly. I first notcied it through the headphones jack, but it also comes through the back sound output. Can anyone help me?
Also, very rarely (but it happens nontheless), OSX will forget my Display preferences, resetting my resolution and everything. Anyone know why this is? And sometimes with Tiger, it can take a few second to switch users.. the fans have to get going for the switch. This happens with little applications open.
