I don't know if I got a faulty unit. (I started a thread about a fan problem but concluded it was normal) We know that past MacBooks had popping noise issues. Does 2020 MBA have this problem? When I open Logic Pro and watch something on YouTube, I'm experiencing popping sounds (It is the same popping sound in the faulty MBP's). It is impossible to hear the video at all. It goes away if I close Logic. OR wait a while. In addition, my right speaker makes crackling noise in high frequencies. I did reset PRAM and I experienced the same issue on the left speaker. Then I reset again, left speaker works fine but right one is the same. I don't know if it's a software issue. I'll call Apple this week, ask for a replacement. I really like the MBA but this small issue bothers me. Since this is a common problem on other MacBooks, I started this thread to see if there are other people experiencing it.
