I don't really like that he went and tagged the apple ipod posters. Batteries die! It would have been ugly and impractical for apple to build in a battery compartment that you would only use every 18 months!
I'm just glad I have the compusa replacement plan for $24 and don't have to pay apple $100 just for the stupid battery.

I'm sorry, i don't care what company it is, if i get a $400 piece of equipment that konks out on me and all the company can do is "offer" for me to buy another one from them, i'd let them have it one way or another. probably something along that guy's very reasonable informing of the public. That's incredibly lame on steve jobs' part to not stand up behind his "amazing" product. The 100$ replacement thing sounds like a pretty rough deal too.
