I have MacBook Pro 15-inch Mid 2012 2.3 GHz i7. Can I use a Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 160, 167Wh Lithium with Backup Power Supply with 110V/100W(Peak 150W) AC Outlet? More specs can be found here.

Thanks all.

Sorry, but unsure I understand your question.
I want to plug the USB plug of my Mac power cord into the USB on my laptop then plug the two prong AC plug into the outdoor portable generator instead of a normal wall socket in my house.

That's going to be very inefficient I'd imagine. DC (battery) > AC (Apple charger) > DC (Mac).

It's a shame it doesn't offer USB-PD via it's USB-C port, then you could drop all AC/DC conversion.

You need find portable generator that has a USB C port!

Try it and report back your experience!

No I just want to know his experience using the Generator to charge a laptop!
