I saw the ASUS ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, which has two 14" OLED panels, and I decided to try it after some experience with travel LCDs. Even though it only has Full HD resolution, when set up as a vertical monitor unit at 1600 x 1200 from the MacBook, it looks very good.

I wasn’t fully convinced about the size, so I also ordered the UPERFECT Delta 15.6" dual Full HD IPS monitor, but when you look at one and then the other, the difference is striking—it looks jagged.

On top of that, OLED is much less fatiguing because no matter how you tilt it, it always looks good, whereas travel IPS screens are always disappointing in this respect (something that doesn’t happen with my stationary LG IPS).

Even though it’s smaller, I’m leaning about 90% toward the ASUS, but what worries me is the OLED’s “durability.”

I carry it in my backpack or suitcase with the same care as my laptop, but I was wondering whether there’s a risk of damage since OLEDs are more sensitive to potential knocks, or if there’s really no difference compared to an LCD.

As for burn-in, it SHOULD have an internal function to handle it, independent of the OS.
