I need some advice on getting a portable printer to go along with my new powerbook. I will be going abroad for a graduate program in the fall, so I am looking to find a decent printer that can travel with me. Although I'd love built-in bluetooth, I spent every last penny on the powerbook, so I'm just looking for an affordable portable printer that'll work easily with a mac, with decent print quality. I'll mostly be printing A4 paper while abroad, and won't need to print any bigger than the standard (8 1/2") wide.
I would be fine with something used, but am a bit unsure about compatibility with a mac - since many printers on the used market only have the parallel connection. Please excuse my ignorance here - the new powerbook is my first mac, so I am unsure of printer copatibility. (I've been working in an editing lab with macs for the past couple years, but my personal machine has been a pc laptop, until tomorrow that is
)
So any advice on decent portable printers or tips on printer-mac compatability would be hugely apprecoated. Thanks a lot!
