Portable SSD Speeds Ventura

Hi

I have a T7 Shield formatted GUID and exFat

My write speeds are an abysmal 240mb

As soon as I format APFS they shoot to 800

The drive is brand new.

I’ve heard this is a Ventura Issue

Does anyone have any solutions?
