My new phone will be a Verizon phone and I'm porting my current phone number from AT&T. Is there something I need to do when the phone arrives to activate my account with my new phone number? Thanks!

Connect to iTunes and it should do the activation for you automatically. If you have a problem, VZW CS can be reached at *611. This call would not use your minutes. Hope this helps.
Be prepared for calls to both phones to ring for a day or two. Text messages coming through may take longer. Be prepared to carry both phones for several days.

I've transferred a couple of times and this has never been an issue (the two phones thing). It's usually done in a few minutes.
