Porting a number

Are there rules for porting a number? If I leave ATT and hate t mobile and everyone else on my family plan stays on ATT, can I go back? Phone is unlocked so that should be a non issue. Just wondering if there is a frequency situation or something. Thanks!

Yes, you can go back. I left t-mobile and went to verizon and hated it and was back a week and a half later.

I liked the service but was so used to unlimited data with t-mobile. It turned out that I use 25 gigs a month which would be upwards of 200 at Verizon compared to $70 at tmo
