Porting from VZW to ATT, primary account holder, contract question.

hey guys,

I'm going to be porting my fiance onto my ATT plan and paying the VZW ETF to kill her contract with them.

She is currently on a family plan with 3 other lines on her VZW plan. She is the primary account holder. I read you can't port primary account holders. Is that true? Or does one just have to call VZW to downgrade her to an "additional line" status and make someone else on her plan the Primary?

Second, does porting a number from VZW to ATT in any way affect the VZW contract of the other people on her soon-to-be-old VZW plan?

This is a complicated question that apparently no one knows the answer to. I would recommend that you contact Verizon or ATT to get your answer.

i'm an att rep... you could port any of the 3 numbers and it not matter. "primary" numbers don't really exist anymore, every phone in independent of each other, without being... if you follow..

basically i port primaries all day and leave the other lines... it's done everyday, so no worries
