porting legacy plugins for osirix to a new MBP

Hello everyone,
I have a MBP mid 2010 15 inch. I am thinking of buying a 13 inch rMBP now. I am wondering if it will be possible to port some of the apps from my present machine into the new one with the same pluggins especially - osirix - along with their settings.. These are very important to me.

Well if you haven't done so already get an external hard drive and do a complete time machine back up (you should have this anyway).
Then when you get the new mac just restore all your apps and files from the backup and you'll have your computer exactly as you had on the old one. (Assuming of course you are on the latest yosemite OSX on your old machine)
