Our family has a share everything plan with Verizon. My son and I are jumping ship from AT&T and joining with the rest of the family.
My question is this:
I am the account holder on AT&T with a family plan and my son is the second line. He is at work today so my question is what happens if I activate my phone first? I know this will start Verizon to port my number but what will happen to my son's phone since he is the secondary line. Will it close the account and turn off service to his phone? Should I be waiting to later today to activate my phone and have him do his first when he gets home from work? If it matters at all he is off contract as he has the iPhone 4 I am not off contract.
