Is it possible to hook up a 30" ACD and a say a 20" ACD in vertical position and have mac os x display in portrait mode and obviously the 30 in landscape as one spanning screen from a MBP?

Its possible with Mac Pros, but I think these are done using graphics cards etc.. similar to these setups:

It seems that multi-displays are possible on a mac laptop as in this thread, but not sure if portrait viewing is possible within this mix

Any experience/ advice on this?
