Hello!

On all promo pics you see this portrait watch face, and the time display is mixing into this photo’s.
Like, half behind a head for example.

But on my SE it is not doing anything like that. I see the portrait photo, with the time on the bottom, and that’s it.

I don’t see any setting for this as well in the watch app, somebody got more luck with this?

I attached a picture of my cat, so you can see what I mean. It doesn’t work with my face, girlfriends face, nobody’s face 😂

I’ve never got this to work either. I haven’t tried it yet but I do wonder if the subject needs to perhaps take the bottom half of the picture leaving space for the text to go above and behind?

Edit: Just tried one myself and it works. The subject took about the bottom third of the picture.

Cheers man! That’s the trick, logical but not happy with this, my pictures are not taken with this in mind 😂,

Time to shoot new ones!

Edit : in the folder where you have the selected photos in the watch app, you can modify the photos!

You can click on the photo in the watch app and then change the clock to be top behind, top front or bottom front.

The behind setting only works when the photograph has been taken with the right proportions as I mentioned above.
