POS Software for mac

Im helping a friend research and then setup a point of sale system to run on a mac computer. The system needs to integrate with an accounting package, for all the reporting and tax requirements, or have this built in.

He is setting up a 7/11 or Convenience type store which will sell all the usual grocery type things, therefore needs to have some stock system plus reporting on items that move fast and so forth.

We have looked at Microsoft Dynamics POS, but as he only has mac computers and is mac fan/addict would obviously be biased towards mac software, if there is no good mac pos software products out there could you possible suggest for the other os please.
