I bought my iPhone 5 on release day, and since that time it got really beat up, along with the power button. So when the button replacement program was introduced, I decided to take advantage of it. I sent in my phone to Apple, who made the process really simple and fast. They told me it would take 7-8 days for repair, so I waited. 8 days later...no email or call. I waited a few more days, feeling frustrated. Apple ended up calling me back, saying that my iPhone couldn't be fixed, and that they would give me a brand new one (not refurbished). Went in to the store, picked it up and left, no hassle. All I can say is, I'm very happy with the turnout.
