Positive/negative refreshes page

Hi!

I don't speak english very well, so I will be quick..
I have a suggestion:

I would be very nice if the page wouldn't completely refresh when you vote for neg/pos. I have slow internet connection and the page is quite big, so it loads some time. Don't bother with this if its hard to do.

Story ratings aren't particularly important to many of our site visitors, since the meaning of a vote is up to each person who votes. A positive or negative vote may be a reaction to the news story itself or about the people, companies, or products involved.

You might choose to vote only on news stories for which you have a strong opinion, especially if you have a dial-up or other slow connection. You can also express opinions by posting in a news story's discussion thread.

Why not do away with them? All I ever see is negative comments about them. Shall I make a poll?
