Let's keep this thread to positive improvements of the new iPad.

I noticed the speakers are far better. More like surround sound and I do not have to 'cup' the speaker towards me.

Its def faster in the apple interface. I think it refreshes my emails faster and is all around zippier ;)

Can anyone else confirm the speakers are intact better?

well...

Safari is more spry. The camera is shuttering faster and the iPad winked at me at least twice.

I think she likes me. :p

Hahaha!! Nice analogy. I hope someone can confirm speaker upgrade lol. Bc I'm going to be disappointed if its only retina screen that's improved. Although i do notice it's far more soothing in my eyes already.

That is why I always wait for the iLounge review.
They are the only site that actually reviews all the technical details like sound quality, etc.

The sound is definitely LOUDER, that tends to make it :)sound better.

New iPad gets a huge point in my book if the speakers really are significantly better.

The speakers are one of my few negatives about this device.

As a Tab 10.1 user, I miss the binaural stereo sound. When holding the iPad in landscape, I can definitely discern the sound source emanating from the left. If I were to watch a movie on this device, I would prefer using external speakers or headphones.
