Possibility of having the phone tomorrow

Phone has been shipped with Fedex standard overnight shipping. enroute as of 12pm today. if the shipping method is standard overnight should be delivered tomorrow right? or will there be another hold when it gets to my local distribution center.. THE WAIT IS KILLING ME

My arrival date was original the 18th, but fed ex has since changed it to the 19th. Still hoping for the better of the two!

Doubt it. FedEx and UPS would be pissing off a very important client of theirs (Apple).

Exactly.

It gets less and less every year though, as Apple pays both companies the GDP of a small country to ship these things. Part of that contract is ensuring they not only get there on the 19th, but that they don't arrive BEFORE then as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few fall through the cracks, but statistically by asking if yours will be one, it won't

It will arrive the 19th just fine though.

Read a book, watch a movie, get a job... tons of things you can do to occupy 24 hours. If it does kill you, take heart in the fact that your story will be national news:

"Man killed by own impatience over iPhone launch"
