iPod touch Possibility of iPod touch 6 on September 9th Keynote?

Good chance they will release a new one to become a top-line device while the update a couple months back will remain the solid bottom-line model for a couple years.
However, there is a good chance Apple will not update the iPT for another month or three or six. I think the iPT will always hang around as a neutered iPhone for the kids. It isn't difficult to engineer or produce, it uses "last year's" tech, it is the best-selling iPod; it will be a kind of iPod Classic once the Classic is dropped.

In my opinion, no chance at all.
I also do not expect any iPad announcements during the Sept 9th keynote.

When the Touch 6 doesn't come out this fall, how many people who guaranteed that Apple will release a Touch 6 this fall will admit that they were wrong. The answer falls somewhere between zero and none

They should just discontinue Ipod touch line if they don't upgrade because A5 already quite sluggish on current games.

It's not sluggish on any of the games I play. I think it's still good for another year. After that I think it will start to show its age.
You know the references to a larger iPhone screen resolution in iOS 8 beta?
If you look in the screenshots 9to5mac showed of the homescreen layout files, there's one named iPhone and one named iPod, suggesting there will be a new iPod touch with the same larger screen resolution.

Please post a list of specific games that run sluggish on the Touch 6 to support your post.
The iPod file in the screenshot is named "...568h-iPod" though. I don't see one pointing to a 736-point iPod.
Im beginning to feel u are stalking my post 555.
First of all, Bioshock wont play on it. How can you call the device for gaming experience when one of the best port couldn't run on it.
Crazy taxi = almost unable to enjoy the game if it just kept stuttering on every time i turn.
Rayman is flying and running in slow-mo on some level
Most of all, 512 ram is too little.
U want kids to buy the Touch to play games, why not throw in A8 and 1G ram and get rid of the camera. Most people have their phone to take pictures. 100 usd unlock android has a camera.... whats the point.

I have never experienced any stuttering / slow-mo on my Touch 5 after I turned on reduced motion, The problem is that people can make a general statement as fact and there is no way of verifying their statements without specifics. Everyone knows that Bioshock will not be written for the Touch and now you gave me two other games to download and try out. Some of the games I have run on my Touch 5 are

I would love to see a Touch with an A8 and 1GB RAM (I would be the first in line to buy one
) but I honestly find that my Touch 5 runs well with the games currently out there.
According to the description it is not compatible, but has anyone tried it on their touch 5 too see if it really is not compatible at all?
