possibility of virtualising OS X on OS X?

Does anyone know if OS X can be virtualised a la Parallels on OS X? I know its been done with VMware and the leaked x86 developer copy on generic PC hardware but I haven't heard anything on OS X on OS X virtualisation.

I can see it being useful for devs, to test the latest OS update or Upgrade without creating another partition or dual booting...

Hmm.. good question. Parallels has an "Other" choice when creating a VM.
I'll test it out shortly.

Hmm.. doesn't seem to be supported in the current version of Parallels.

It's certainly technically possible but whether anyone would want to write it is the question.

Those companies offering solutions have no experience hosting Mac OS X. Of course, Apple could work with them but I think Apple would have legal issues concerning it.
