Would appreciate some help.

Been struggling a bit to get NordVPN working properly on my Mini running Catalina.
Despite telling me it is connected, I can still "see" my IP address running "DoILeak" and the like...

I'm wondering if the issue might be that I have Wifi and ethernet active? The former is left on since, AFAIK, it needs to be on to Airdrop things to the Mini. The kids are using it for their online homework (through Google Classroom), and often need to Airdrop photos of their work to the Mini, to then upload later into Classroom.

Ethernet is preferred, since its obviously quicker – direct line to Asus router.

I'm not too clued up on Networking, and was therefore wondering whether this might be the issue with NordVPN – or should it not matter?

Is ethernet at the top in this screen in System Prefs? If not, click the cog at the bottom and select set service order and drag ethernet to the top. That will make the Mac use ethernet as the primary connection.

Appreciate the reply. Mine is currently like that. So this should be fine? Mini will default to using Ethernet, as opposed to Wifi?

So if I'm having difficulties connecting to my VPN, it's most likely something else – and not due to this?
