iPod touch possible camera for iPod Touch?

no this isn't another thread on someone mistaking the ambient light sensor for a camera but with 3.0 couldn't it be possible for someone to make a camera accessory for the iPod Touch and then make an app so we could use it.

why would it have to be on 3.0 though? am i missing something new on 3.0 that would be beneficial for this to happen?

and no i'm not bashing the idea at all, i think it would be nifty and (some) people would buy it.

because the new firmware and the new SDK is what allows third party developers to use the dock connector for their own accessories.

Just like the old pre-Touch iPods did. I'm glad they brought back this support.
