Possible cause for low battery life.

I've noticed that safari tends to use the discrete graphics card on the 15 inch rather than the integrated one. This may be causing the low battery life while people are just browsing on safari?

Oh you mean smaller battery? Why didn't I think of that ... oh wait...

I've noticed that safari tends to use the discrete graphics card on the 15 inch rather than the integrated one. This may be causing the low battery life while people are just browsing on safari?

My 15" 2016 mbp sometimes shows "Yes", but usually shows "No" under "Requires High Perf GPU" for Safari. It probably depends on what you are doing at the time.
