Hello. I have a folder with some files. I pressed the right mouse button to compress the folder into a smaller file. Then, I sent the file to several people through yahoo. Two of them mentioned that they could not open the file. I suppose that they are using Windows PCs. Is it due to compatibility problem? What could I do to resolve this issue? Thanks.

There should be no compatibility issues with a compressed file between Mac and Windows. It's just a normal .zip file, which is not OS-specific.

Thanks. What could be possible sources of the problem?

Without knowing anything about their operating environment, it's tough to guess.

Thanks for the reply. I put all the files in a folder and then compressed the folder into a zip file. I resent the zip file but the other party told me that the files are stating that they are either not supported or damaged. When I sent the files individually without compression, they could open the files successfully.
