When adding an address to a contact the default country is set unless you change it which you would do if the contact was living somewhere else or leave it alone if not.
However when the default country field is left alone, it doesn't appear in the details of the contact.
Let me explain this better.
In John's address field, I'm entering street, suburb, state and since he's in Australia I'm leaving the country as default.
I save and when I open John's contact again it shows street, suburb, state but country is missing in the field.
When I sync this over to my mac/pc the country field is left out and can cause issues when trying to use google maps to map it as there might be several similar names in other countries.
The only solution is to change to a random country and then back again to the default country when entering a contact's address this then allows the default country (in this case Australia) to be saved and appear in the address field.
Now when syncing, the country copies over as well.
Has anyone noticed this?
