Hi,

I have an iPhone 8 Plus, which I bought last September.

A while ago I noticed a tiny dot on the screen that won’t go. I believe it’s a dead pixel (or sub pixel) - it is very small and quite faint.

My warranty expires in a few days and I’m wondering if it’s worth getting this fixed? To be honest it’s so small that you have to look for it, and that’s the reason I haven’t bothered doing anything about it up to now.

Is it worth getting this done under the warranty or am I just being overly fussy? I think most people wouldn’t even notice it, but it’s one of those things that’s annoying knowing it’s there.

I'm not sure they will do anything for a single dead pixel...?
I know with TVs etc it has to be a certain number of pixels before they will consider it a warranty job, not sure with Apple.....

I’d take to Apple and let them look at it. The worst that can happen is them saying no but, they might replace the display for you...
