So in contacts, after syncing contacts with twitter, i then edited the contact, and it offered the chance to not only have twitter, but facebook too amongst others. pics below

First one shows the facebook field directly below the twitter field, obviously hid the twitter field for privacy

I can confirm this on my iPad and input data into those fields. Upon tapping them it takes you to the respectful profile page of each service
 
I doubt it's a hint for more integration. You can add a homepage to a contact now, it just offers a default "home page" label. These are probably just more labels for more pages.
 
I was curious as to why Apple chose to integrate Twitter in to iOS 5 but not Facebook. Perhaps in the future they will have both integrated. I guess now a days most apps have a facebook sharing option but having it in the OS is a little more convenient.
 
yeah twitter is gay ****.. i wish it was fb, id like to upload camera roll directly to fb not twitter :/
