Possible image of iPhone 5 in App?

Hey everyone,

I just purchased the App called SpeechTrans Ultimate for $19.99 on the App Store. While looking through the product images I noticed that the 3rd and 4th images are of the app but are displayed on an iphone with a larger 4.3" edge to edge model. Can someone confirm?

The first 2 product images are of the app on the regular iphone 4.

P.S SpeechTrans is a very good app!

Pfff...this is fake man, have you seen the position of the homebutton the top gets cut by the screen.
 
I was thinking it was fake too, but why would the developer of this App do that? Like they used images of the iPhone 4, why would they use an "iPhone 5" pic? :confused:

Haha serious? I would love to be an app dev. but I assure you that I'm not.

You all really need to relax. This site is called MacRumors, it is our job to find little things like these is it not? other wise get out and join MacFacts or something. I only posted this cause I found it an interesting find that they'd use the supposed iPhone 5 model. :rolleyes:

As we get closer and closer to launch day, these threads seem to be popping up left and right.

I thought I was pretty excited for the new iPhone, but I guess some people are really excited. Enough to think anything with even the slightest deviation from the current iPhone form factor is somehow a leaked image.


After the "bar incident" last year, you can bet your last dollar on El Jobso not letting the slightest leak out until he's holding it in his hands in front of thousands of people in Cali. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Rumors are nice. But you can obviously see the image is PhotoShopped since the home button is cut off. How about doing some homework to see if the rumor is possibly real before posting.

It's not our job to do anything like this. *I'm* not getting paid to do this. Are you?

besides, let's apply a little common sense here: is a random app developer on the iTunes store REALLY gonna know what the iPhone 5 looks like, when no one else does? And if they got lucky somehow and did know, do you really think that App Store reviewers would've let the image leak on an app screenshot?
 
This is exactly why I don't post here. You guys notice something that perhaps the OP did not - such as the cut-off home button - and he gets belittled for starting the thread. Get over yourselves.
