Possible IOS4 iPod control bug...

I've got an iPhone 4 that's jailbroken on 4.0.1. What I'm seeing is this. If I'm playing music and decide to pause it, I do so by double clicking home button. Then when my phone autolocks and I want to resume the music I'll double click again but no iPod controls show up. I'll also unlock my phone and double click and swipe right to bring up the iPod controls from there. When I click on the play/pause button nothing happens. I have to actually go into the iPod app to resume the music. I believe the only way to get normal behavior was to restart the phone. Anyone else seeing this?
