Okay I have iP4, 4.2.1 JB by redsn0w beta 6.
I am not sure this is anything to do with the JB, it could be unrelated to JB.
1. Make sure that you have ESPN ScoreCenter, Pandora (Any music playing app including iPod for that matter) apps on your Phone.
2. For Notifications for ESPN app set Sounds and Alerts on.
3. Select any NBA/NFL game and set alert on for that game in ESPN app.
4. Now play Music with your Music app, let it go in background.
5. Now when ESPN app push alerts sounds (game completion, half time, you can set the alert in many ways), your Music playing app stops playing the audio completely.
6. Now launch the Music playing app and play it again.
7. Again open ESPN ScoreCenter app and again you Music playing app will stop.
8. It looks like whenever ESPN ScoreCenter audio alert sounds the app takes over the control of background audio and it stops the other audio playing app. When you again go to that other audio playing app and starts it and again come to ESPN it will again take over the background audio i.e. as soon as the alert sounds ESPN scorecenter becomes your Audio Playing app.
9. Only solution is to kill the ESPN app and everything is back to normal until you hear next ESPN audio notification.
What I have seen is, ESPN app audio alert is local audio file within the ESPN app folder, it's not Apples notification audio. This could be ESPN app issue too.
Have you guys experienced this?
