Hi guys is anybody thinking that Mr Cook may stem the flow of X's to try and help the sales of the 8's. I have been reading everywhere that it hasn't been the best of launches for the 8's.
Or is it just me thinking that that is one way to help the 8 out.....

Don’t think he cares how it sells he just wants overall sales. I’m sure some with upgrade to the 8 or 8 plus if people don’t want to wait for the x. If you have a 7 plus you might as well wait it out

Only you thinking. Apple will make more money from the X. Overall profit matters more than the number of units sold.

The iPhone 8 doesn't need help. It's still going to sell massively and outsell the iPhone X long term, because it's affordable and widely more available. The only reason the iPhone X is delayed, is likely because of production and not having enough stock ready.
