iPod touch possible jailbreak rumor...

i heard that the new upgrade (2.0 i think) has some type of anti-jailbreak measures so im scared to jailbreak my ipod. it is coming on the 17th (1g). should i just jailbreak it and not upgrade it or should i upgrade it and not jailbreak it? or are these rumors false?



eta: im not 100% sure about what jailbreak exactly means but i heard that it is good and lets you change your background and other cool stuff

the same thing was said about every update since the original. its simply not true. Apple cannot afford hundreds of thousands of lawsuits. The only thing they can do about jailbreakers (other than trying to make their firmware unjailbreakable in the first place, which obviously isnt working) is void their warranty.
