I have seen a keyboard in combination with the Ipad2 but is it also possible to get a mouse attached to it ?

Keyboards are easily paired with iPads. Mouse's on the other hand are a little trickier and involve a jail breaking. May be a better idea to get a laptop as the iPad interface was meant to touch. (i.e. when exiting an app you still need to press the home button)

Actually the hack lets you use a right mouse click in place of the home button.

Personally I wish Apple would give the iPad official magic mouse support. Although generally I love the touchscreen, there are some cases where I might prefer a mouse. Like when I'm using a keyboard and have to reach up to the screen.
