Since a few weeks ago, members of my family have been plagued with junk mail/spam. We ignored it, thinking it was nothing. More recently, we have received blank emails from known contacts that link to random websites and we have received strange text messages from unknown numbers advertising random things such as Viagara. I am concerned because we share one iMac which all of our iPhones are synced to. Is there possibly a virus on the Mac that has taken our information/contacts? That seems like the only possible reason for all this to happen at once. Any help provided is much appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

There has never been a virus in the wild that runs on Mac OS X. The handful of trojans that exist can be easily avoided with some education and common sense and care in what software you install:
You're suffering from nothing but spam. It's also possible your email account may have been hacked. Change your email password and make it complex.
