what do you think the prices are gonna be and how much memory will it have?
Also what new features do you think are coming... mine

8gb $199
16gb $299
32gb $350
64gb $399

Also i hope for internal speakers and GPS

i'm hoping for 16/32/64gb at $299/399/499. that's it. i figured out that if i hope for less on apple upgrades, i either get what i wanted, or am blown away. win/win :)

there's a slight chance that GPS might make its way into the touch, along with external volume controls.

i think they'd drop the 8 gb touch, because at 199, it would (mildly) interfere with the 8gb nano sales. also, i think apple wants to establish a certain price range with its "flagship" model, and thus, would not go below 299 for pricing.

First of all, Apple has never offered 4 different size capacities at once, at least to the best of my knowledge. The 16 and 32 are guarantees, and it'll be a toss up between 8 and 64. I'll put my money on 64.

And if they did have all 4, the prices don't make sense. So if you use the 16 as a base, you can either get an extra 16 for $50, or an extra 48 for $100? That doesnt make sense from a business standpoint.

My prediction?
16GB - $299
32GB - $399
64GB - $499

The US$299, 399 and 499 makes sense.

It would translate in Apple Australia dollars (not to be confused with actual Aussie dollars... :D)

$399
$499
$599

Currently the 8GB is $399, the 16GB is $499 and the 32GB is $629 so those prices make sense.

8gb $199
16gb $299
32gb $350
64gb $399

I agree. Aside from the 32GB @ $350 (probably will be $399)
If they bump the hardware just a little with speaker minimal, and put 8GB at $199, Apple opens up their consumers to the App Store, which is major bux for Apple.

I think this is what we'll see. I'll instantly purchase the 16GB.

8 GB: $249 (may be discontinued)
16 GB: $299
32 GB: $399
64 GB: $499 (early 2009)

Features I think will be coming are an iPhone-like design (but aluminum) and GPS at least as an option.

$199 - 16gb
$299 - 32gb
$399 - 64gb
I'm not trying to put aside your idea there, but I don't think that will happen. Apple would need to lower the price of its other iPods too (not all of them). If you think it'll be that price because of the iPhone, think again. The iPhone itself isn't worth that much. You do in fact pay for the rest of it with the contract. That's also what the early termination fee is for; to pay for the rest of the phone if you leave the carrier early. Plus $199 is close to the manufacturing price of the iPod. Not much profit there. Unless they force you to use iTunes-store-bought only music, so that you have to pay for the music that you already own. But that's not going to happen.
