Possible Refurb?

Would this generation's base 13" Retina -- with ONLY a RAM upgrade to 8GB (meaning base in every other way: 128GB storage, etc.) -- ever appear on Apple's refurb list?

Yes, all configs can eventually appear in the Apple refurbished store. You can setup a tracker on www.refurb.me and it will alert you when the config you want appears on the Apple refurb store.

Ok thanks! -- I was wondering if there was something like that. Do you know how much the aforementioned configuration cost? $1199?

It doesn't appear as if the model I'm looking for is a refurb (or has been seen on the refurb list yet).

There is an 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD variant but with a faster processor clock speed (which I don't care to pay for).
