I run the webkit nightlies, so this might not be the same for everyone, but I currently have a folder named "com.apple.opencl" within the "com.apple.Safari" cache folder. Not sure what this means, but it may hint at possible browser speed-ups through OpenCL. It contains 4 files. Two are binary files, one 64-bit and one 32-bit, while the other 2 are something I can't recognize (.map?). Why these files would be considered cache is anyone's guess, but based on the naming of the folder, they must have something to do with OpenCL.

Come to think of it, it may be how webkit is implementing this "Full Page Accelerated Drawing" which is new in the webkit nightlies.
