I was looking for some info on a specific brand of earbuds (using DuckDuckGo) and noticed this website listed as an ad result. I have no idea what the process is for advertising on DDG, but that isn't why I brought it up.

Here's the link- BestBuyAppleStore(?)...... TOTAL SCAM SITE WARNING

I'm more or less curious why this would ever get a green light for an ad, regardless of the website that's running the ads. The moment I saw the website, I thought they ripped off some Apple pictures and did a trendy website approach... but it completely fell apart from that moment forward. Some zero-effort digging revealed this...

I strongly advise anyone interested in getting their Apple products at a discount.... please avoid sites that look like this unless you are willing to get completely ripped off. Basically, treat it like a Kickstarter ummm "donation"? I doubt anyone has received a purchase from them yet.

Nothing is right with this website. No idea where to begin, but it looks like a complete copy/paste job from a low-budget template website. Not to mention, it has only been around for two weeks. That itself is sketch. And a pair of AirPods Pro for $140? Hell, if this place is legit I'm busting out my reserves on the credit card..... you have to be kidding.

I came across a website similar to this that resembled Walmart. They had the same bike I was ordering for my son at $69 vs Walmart’s $99. I immediately left the site and stayed on Walmart to order. It’s a shame that somebody is going to fall for this scam.

You know what? I honestly thought it looked like a Chinese scam site from the get go, tbh. Reminds me of the style the knockoff factories use for their websites (not visually, just the layouts and the page contents). It's quite annoying to see it like this, I think.

Personally, I've disabled DDG's advertising, as I don't care about seeing more of this; then again, something nags at me to quietly enjoy this as much as I can.... while simultaneously reporting them to the domain provider for possible fraud lol. The numbers for this kind of website cannot be very favorable......
