I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.3 and an Apple Watch connected. I have a passcode and Touch ID enabled.

Today when I was wearing my watch, I received a text and used handoff to reply on my phone. I slid up the messages icon at the bottom left of the lock screen and it prompted me to enter my passcode or use Touch ID. I entered my passcode and... Nothing happened. I entered it again, and again, and nothing. I entered a wrong code and still nothing happened. I locked my iPhone and tried it again, and it didn't ask me for a passcode. Every time I lock my phone, it no longer asks for a passcode or finger print to unlock.

In settings, Touch ID and passcode are still enabled and i need to enter it to change it. However, there was nothing stopping my phone from being unlocked. A reset fixed it, but it's still a pretty big flaw. I have been unable to replicate it however.

I've reported it to Apple and just wanted to give a heads up here!
