I have a pretty new rMBP. Ever since I got it shutdown takes a while (15-20 seconds every single time) and during start up when it boots into the desktop, it is extremely choppy as opposed to smooth as I have seen in some videos.
I've already reinstalled OS from scratch, I've repaired disk permissions, made sure that the HD was selected for startup disk and it still is like it.
Is it possibly related to the SSD? Or some other hardware? Or is this normal? I don't want to have something that is going to crap out on me especially when I need it!
