Hello

I was curious whether it is possible to partition a portable hard drive and load Linux onto it and then boot to the linux partition of my portable hard drive while leaving my macbook pro's harddrive exclusively OSX. If possible, how would I go about doing this?

Thanks

How could I do it WITH burning a CD?

Oh that's easy, just open Disk Utility, hit CMD+B and select the image to burn.
