Possible to buy iPhone in Apple Store Vancouver, Canada?

I've got a friend that is about to travel to Canada. Now I was wondering if it is possible to buy an iPhone at the Apple Store in Vancouver, Canada without a subscription plan? If yes, would someone please post the pricing for them here

I would call them to find out. It's not that big of an apple store, but they do have iPhone clinics..

No, you can't.

No Apple Store's in Canada have the iPhone to sell.

You would have to go to either Rogers/Fido to get it and then cancel the plan OR buy it off craigslist/kijiji/ebay for about 400-$500 depending on which model you want.
