Fell down the stairs and put a dent on the back of my new 13" MBP. Luckily its a smooth dent on the casing and did not cost any internal damage. Devastated, the dent is really bothering me now. Am I able to order a bottom panel with the same serial number?

ifixit is the place that I usually recommend but it seems that they do not have the 13" MacBook Pro parts yet. So you would have to resort to ebay, I believe.

Probably find them from the Powerbook and MacBook parts vendors, might be $100-150 + shipping.

Thanks, I'm somewhat relieved that I can buy a replacement. Out of curiosity, where are these vendors getting their parts from? The 'used' ones are obvious but I saw some 'brand new' casings and such.

Some of the vendors sell off parts on the sly under a generic name, even though they don't make as big a profit -- anything to boost them into the next discount level from a supplier helps, or simply boosts revenue and makes the balance sheet look better.
