Possible to change aspect ratio on iPhone 4 video recording?

I was wondering about this, since 16:9 is a little wide for my taste in many cases and the default portrait is also too high of an aspect ratio. It should be possible to do this unless the built-in sensor is 16:9.

You can't. apple give no control over video recording settings.
